All I hear in my head are the echoes of three words for the past few days, My name is Ayobami Olugbenga-Wyse and I have a question to ask you... WHAT MATTERS MOST TO YOU?... #Money #Love or #Family.
As I journey daily through life, I hear different people pass different comments such as, “If I had a certain amount of money my life will be much better than it is...” or “I don’t have anyone to show me true love” or “blood is thicker than water, if not for my family, where would i be today?” and these comments are strong reflections of the thoughts and worries of their heart. We can’t take away the fact that our world is surrounded mainly by these major factors.
Everyone has an identity; we are all born into a family and represent a family. Everyone is also love hungry, we all love attention of being loved or allowed the freedom to express love as well. Everyone realises the importance of Money, we all want to acquire things and enjoy our daily lives without wanting to wait a life time before that realisation is achieved.
But the truth about life remains; we strive for different things at the same time but one out of many is always the centre of attraction per time and phase. What do i mean?... as much as we want Love or more money to meet our goals or don’t want to trade our identity by the family we represent, we are constantly pressured to give greater attention to one out of all three while the others are slightly relegated to the background, then the question to you will be...WHAT MATTERS MOST TO YOU?... #Money #Love or #Family.
Some say #Money has to be more important than anything because with money, they can get love anywhere and even the family will respect and recognise them. While others say it most definitely has to be #Love because there is no such thing as a good family or relationship when love is missing. They even believe that Love can bring you money or are generally satisfied when they are loved as compared to having money. Another category of people believe it sure has to be #Family because with all the money in the world, when you have any issues later in life, there is only one arm to run into, and that is the huge Arm of the family. So i ask you again, what school of thought then do you belong to?
Would you blame anyone who will call the bluff of money or love to remain with #Family after they have been through a lot in life in pursuit for money and love in all the wrong places and it was family that came to their rescue? And would you rent rage on anyone who says it has to be #Love or nothing because they had been turned down by people they called and know has family and even realised money couldn’t answer all their problems or would you stone those who have been disappointed by family based on financial predicaments and even love couldn’t come to their rescue and decided to make this #Money by all means?
So what then is most important? What truly matters most to you then?... #Money #Love or #Family
#Family is important, that is your identity no matter how much they have let you down. #Money is also important, you have goals and aspirations to achieve with a good life that we wouldn’t mind. We cant take away the importance of #Love as well, we can go nuts when we are attention or love starved. But whatever your choice and opinion may be, i strongly advice that none should rank too high at the detriment of the other, a balanced life with a little of everything in it will make us a lot more happy than when one is oppressed by the other.
Make the money, allow love its place and never throw away family.
